Habitus Creativity of Elementary Teacher Education Department Students in Creating "Batik Cap"

ABSTRACTThe purposes of this research are finding out the behaviour and creativity patterns of students in making “batik cap”. Subjects of this research were students of the Primary School Teacher Education Department at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta who took the Art and Skills Education course in the even semester of the Academic Year 2018/2019. The stages of the process analyzed include making batik designs, creating “batik cap” masters, “batik cap” artworks, and finishing the artworks. The research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and document review. The data analysis technique used is narration. The results showed that 4P concept contains habitus as a system of practical production schemes, systems of perception, and appreciation practically related to aesthetics that allow for non-aesthetic responses within an object, differently defined in terms of philosophical logic. Students did the practices they had followed the procedure of creative thinking quite well. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola perilaku dan kreativitas siswa dalam pembuatan “batik cap”. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta yang mengambil mata kuliah Pendidikan Seni dan Keterampilan pada Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Tahapan proses yang dianalisis meliputi pembuatan desain, master "batik cap", karya seni "batik cap", dan menyelesaikan karya seni. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan tinjauan dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep 4P berisi habitus sebagai sistem skema produksi praktis, sistem persepsi, dan penghargaan yang secara praktis terkait dengan estetika yang memungkinkan respons non-estetika dalam suatu objek, berbeda didefinisikan dalam hal logika filosofis. PENGETAHUAN DASAR SENI RUPA DAN KETERAMPILAN SERTA PEMBUATAN BAHAN AJAR DENGAN TEKNIK MONTASE

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah bagaimana mengajarkan kepada para guru sekolah dasaragar dapat membuat bahan ajar berbasis seni rupa dan keterampilan. Hal ini mengarah pada caraatau metode pembelajaran yang menarik dengan melakukan praktik melalui pendampingan. Gurudalam menjalankan proses pembelajaran dibutuhkan suatu bahan ajar karena digunakan untukmembantu guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Dan dari proses belajar mengajar ini akandiperoleh suatu hasil yang pada umumnya disebut hasil pengajaran. Salah satu bentuk bahan ajaradalah karya seni dan keterampilan dua dimensi yaitu montase pada media kertas sebagai bentukrepresentasi suatu ide atau fenomena yang terjadi di sekitarnya. LUKISAN KANVAS JAKA TARUB KARYA WIYADI DALAM KAJIAN FEMINISME PERIODE AWAL (EARLY FEMINISM)

Jaka Tarub adalah salah satu cerita rakyat berasal dari Jawa Tengah yang menceritakan seorang pemuda yang mengintip bidadari yang sedang mandi di hutan lalu mengambil selendang salah satu bidadari hingga menjadikannya seorang istri. Pada umumnya cerita rakyat mengisahkan tentang suatu kejadian di suatu tempat atau asal muasal suatu tempat. Penggambaran cerita rakyat dikemas dalam susunan teks (uraian) berupa dongeng dan biasanya dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi. Versi cerita Jaka Tarub beragam tetapi inti cerita sama, selain itu penggambaran pun juga beragam ada yang dilukiskan dalam figur manusia realis, kartun dan wayang. Salah satu penggambaran cerita ini yaitu menggunakan figur wayang Beber Panji dengan media kanvas. Versi cerita tersebut menjadi modal awal penulis ingin mengkaji lebih jauh lukisan Jaka Tarub karya Wiyadi, karena penulis melihat ada pembacaan lain terkait figur-figur yang ditampilkan kemudian menghadirkan contoh lukisan karya Basuki Abdullah dengan judul yang sama. Lukisan Jaka Tarub ini dibuat dengan cita rasa lukisan tradisional dapat dilihat dari penggunaan figur wayang Beber Panji, gradasi pewarnaan, penambahan atribut pada figur dan hiasan berupa ornamen, isen-isen dan bentuk hayati yang distilisasi. Wiyadi ialah seorang pelukis wayang Beber yang menggambarkan Jaka Tarub dengan figur wayang beber. Wiyadi masih produktif hingga saat ini, tidak hanya wayang beber dan cerita rakyat yang dibuatnya, tetapi juga penggambaran wuku Jawa (perlintangan) atau lebih biasa dikenal dengan zodiak (Barat) dan shio (Timur). Semua hasil karya seni lukisnya mengacu pada figur wayang baik Beber Panji maupun Purwa gaya Surakarta. Penulis tertarik untuk mengkaji lebih jauh melalui pembacaan visual karya ini dengan menggunakan sudut pandang Feminisme Periode Awal (Early Feminism) dikarenakan terkait dengan penggambaran figur tokoh-tokohnya. Jaka Tarub is one of folklore from Central Java who tells a young man peeking nymph bathing in the woods and take shawl one angel to make him a wife. In general folklore tells of an incident in a place or origin somewhere. Depiction of folklore packed in the arrangement of text (description) in the form of fairy tales and usually equipped with an illustration. Jaka Tarub diverse versions of the story, but the core story of the same, but it was also a variety of existing depictions portrayed in realistic human figures, cartoons and puppets. One depiction of this story is to use a Wayang Beber figure on canvas. The story version became the start authors wanted to examine further “Jaka Tarub” painting which created by Wiyadi, because the authors saw no other reading of the relevant figures shown then presents examples of paintings by Basuki Abdullah with the same title. Jaka Tarub painting was made with flavors of traditional painting can be seen from usage the figure of Wayang Beber, gradation of color, adding attributes and ornament to the figure, Isen-Isen and biological stylized form. Wiyadi is a Wayang Beber painter who depicts Jaka Tarub with the figure of Wayang Beber. Wiyadi still productive today, not only Wayang Beber and folklore are made, but also depictions Javanese wuku (perlintangan) or more commonly known as the zodiac (the West) and the zodiac (the East). All the works of his art refers to Wayang Beber Panji figure either Wayang Beber Purwa in Surakarta style. Visual Aesthetics Understanding of Elementary Students in Creating the Artworks

This research has motivated by the author's desire to know deeply about elementary students' understanding of visual aesthetics through the objectification process. The purpose of this research is to explore the ability of elementary school students to interpret the beauty and visual arts through practical activities in making three-dimensional artworks. The author using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and document reviews. The subjects are students in Grade 6 at SD Negeri Bhayangkara Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used is narration. The results are obtaining students taking the stages in making artworks with a visual aesthetic approach and the objectification process towards natural objects. Visual aesthetic understanding for elementary students comes from how we can invite them doing practicing at outclass and let them look for reference from many sources. Creativity reveals from combining person, product, process, and environment. The involvement of the lecturer and tutor teacher in the learning process is beneficial for students in representing ideas and ideas. Aesthetic Habitus Analysis of PGSD Universitas Ahmad Dahlan’s Students on Visual Arts and Skills Learning Process

The research explained about analysis visual arts and skill learning of PGSD UAD’s students. Data collection time at even semester, academic year 2017/2018 in class A, B, C, and H. Type research is qualitative research with descriptive data analysis. Author used aesthetic habitus concept to study its learning for getting in-depth analysis. Result showed that students at sixth semester is needed familiarize themselves seeing, observing, and interacting with visual references directly and continuously. It purposed so they can create the artworks which creative ideas. Research’s benefit as a reference to improve visual arts and skills learning in the future for students prospective primary school teacher. Visual Analysis of Niken Larasati’s Braille Painting: A Mimesis Studies

The purpose of this reseach is determining the aesthetic appeal of the aspects of the form (formal), moisture content (symbol), and emotional expression on Niken Larasati’s Braille painting. This painting themed by dolanan anak (traditional children games) and has embedded on ox skin. For getting a deep analysis, author used Mimesis theory by Aristotle. The research method used is qualitative research. Techniques and data collection tools are done by interviews, field observation, and document reviews. Data analysis using semiotics approach on qualitative research that the author must decipher the meaning carried by the sign or symbol. The results obtained from this research are the symbolic interactions between idea, visual, and cultural representation on the dolanan anak activities.
